I fell in love with Japan 20 years ago. I lived there from 1995 to 1999. It got under my skin, deep into my being, for its awareness of beauty and meaning in all forms of nature. Its a place I have always wanted to keep a tie going. Now, 14 years after my last flight out of the Land of the Rising Sun, I have a thread of connection again. My jewelry and artwork were shown in Japan last month – at Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Gallery Abeisfirma in Kobe, and Sunayama in Nagoya! So exciting!
All thanks to Megumi who made it happen, who set up each display and who sent all the photos below, including one of a perfect pink chrysanthemum. Thank you, Meg!!
